Total load forecast

The load forecasts provided are calculated for different time horizons (day-ahead, week-ahead, month-ahead and year-ahead). All forecasts are based on a model with the input data historical actual load and the day type (including a public holiday calendar).

The day-ahead load forecast is based additionally on the temperature forecast of the following day.

The publication time of the load forecasts varies depending on the respective time horizon:

• Day-ahead load forecast: Published at 08:00 am for the following day
• Week-ahead load forecast: Published on Friday, 08:00 am for the following week
• Month-ahead load forecast: Published on the 15th of the month for the following month 
• Year-ahead load forecast: Published on 12th December for the following year
