Interfaces for participation in tenders for balancing services
Participation in tenders for balancing services is available both via the tendering platform RRAP and the platform Stromausgleich Österreich
Access to APG’s tendering platform (RRAP)
Access to APG’s tendering platform RRAP is required in order to take part in tenders for balancing services. First, the provider must be accredited to participate in a tender and registered for RRAP access using the company master data sheet. To apply for personal access to RRAP, the employee master data sheet has to be completed, signed and returned to APG. The master data sheets can be found here.
After successful registration, APG will send all necessary data and technical tools for access to RRAP.
Access to the platform Stromausgleich Österreich
From now on, suppliers have an alternative interface for participating in the aFRR (automatic Frequency Restoration Reserve) process in the form of the platform Stromausgleich Österreich (SA.AT). Bid submission, award information, activation information and metering data are all processed via the platform Stromausgleich Österreich.
The prerequisite for this is the successful completion of the technical onboarding process, which is carried out by APG and a third party commissioned by APG together with the provider. Furthermore, participation via SA.AT requires the prequalification of a sperate pool. For the purposes of viewing bids and award information, RRAP access is currently still recommended and useful.
All processes described in the terms and conditions for balancing service providers, the framework agreements and technical prequalification documents remain unchanged. Further information and the corresponding documents and links can be found here.
