Offer phase

References to the Austrian electricity law (ElWG) include the changes made through the yet to be issued ordinance by E-Control according to § 146 (4) ElWG.

Paragraph 144 (2) ElWG requires APG to conduct a two-stage tender procedure for the selection of network reserve providers.

In the first part of the process, APG checked the details and evidence submitted by the providers in their expressions of interest to see if they provided the required information and meet the eligibility conditions under § 144 (1), (2) and (4) ElWG in addition to the technical requirements (mandatory minimum requirements).

All operators of eligible plants will be asked to submit offers within four weeks in accordance with § 144 (3) ElWG.

The offer phase usually starts one to two weeks after the end of the expression of interest phase.
